Roadmap to a better life

It can be incredibly frustrating to not have a roadmap every time life takes an unexpected turn.

Sometimes you think that you are the only one who has ever felt this way. It is easy to hide those feelings. Someone’s public self is often quite different from their private self. What a person displays on the outside is often very different from what is going on inside.

I am incredibly thankful for what I have in my life, but something is missing…

What is my next step? What do I want to do? Where do I want to go? What are the reasons I act like I do?

These questions pertain to the desire to find a new direction, a new roadmap.

Having a different perspective and a new way of looking at things can go a long way toward getting you out of your stuck position.

Having flexibility, in both thinking about your difficulties and in charting new pathways toward a solution, is a great asset that can be developed.

Make the decision to do it differently.

You, too, can gain a new perspective on how to view and manage your life.

Don’t wait! Change your thinking, change your life!

About Me

Everyone has a history and a story, including me.

Every person has had their own unique set of challenges. I have dealt and continue to deal with a great deal of anxiety in my life.

My schooling as a Marriage and Family Therapist and my continued studies in Bowen Family Systems Theory (BFST) have been incredibly useful for helping me understand life differently.

While that doesn’t mean that I no longer have anxiety, it does mean that I am better equipped at dealing with it.

Through my life experiences and professional training, I have developed the skill of being able to listen to people’s stories and then help them gain a new perspective. I have been successful with many people in learning to manage their lives differently.

I like to be active in life. Some of my favorite activities include yoga, walking on the beach, hiking, and enjoying wine and good conversation with friends.
